愛称 GIGI (ジジ)

　23年来の友人で兄弟で3人目の師匠であるJiji氏のカスタムビルド。JBが欲しくて'87～8年頃に譲ってもらい、嬉しくて一時期はこればかり弾いてました。当初パーツ類はシルバーでペグGrover、ブリッジSharlerだったのをロイクのニーちゃんぽくゴールパーツに変更。
　しかし小柄な私にはJazzBassはでかい、ビデオや写真で自分を見るとちょっとベースに持たれてるかんじ感じがして、最近は録音時のみの使用。Oily北川氏とのバンド活動時代の大半はこの娘をつれてスタジオにライブにと演りました。
　音的には上品なFenderかなって感じ（実はモノホンは弾いた事ないので解らん！）、ROCK BANDで使用する際は、RockTron310Compと初期型SansAmp PSA-1を通して使用。
　'04.9乾燥ためかNeckが反ったので調整しようとしたが、トランスロッドが限界まで締めてあって.....。次はMosesかModulusのグラファイトネックにしょうと思うが高い！
'06.10　若いリペアマンにネック調整をしてもらい現役復帰！

Incredible! It is a precise, harmonically tunable direct-replacement bridge for Fender Jazz and Precision Basses. The massive structure of high density alloy Zinc will produce sound-coupling effects creating tremendous increases in "ATTACK," sustain, and clarity of notes. Absolutely no modification is required. It will install directly onto Fender basses with the five screws of the original bridge. The design of the Bass II eliminates the problems of harmonic tuning, interference of bass string silk wrappings, contacting the bridge saddle, and undesirable side movement of the strings and bridge saddles.

Jazz Bass shape neck (short) pickup and bridge (long) pickup are low noise single coils
The lengths of the neck and bridge pickups in the original Fender* J-basses are not equal.
The neck pickup is 3-5/8" long which is slightly shorter than the bridge pickup which is 3-3/4" long.

Bartolini TBT

The Prequency range of these controls is user adjustable with external capacitors.Each control boosts or cuts up to 15dB. withe both controls at 5 the response is flat with a gain of 2dB and very low noise levels. The TBT has an iput impeadance of 270Kohm and an out put impeadance of less than 10kohm. the TBT will operate for 2months continuously from a single 9V battery, The tone controls should be 50Kohm linear potentiometers (not included). Several capacitors ar included with the TBT to modify the range of action of each control.
